libcanberra-gtk0 software package provides GTK+ helper for playing widget event sounds with libcanberra, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcanberra-gtk0
libcanberra-gtk0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcanberra-gtk0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcanberra-gtk0 *
